The mission is simple, to transform the way agents learn, perform, and thrive in the Medicare insurance space.
My Journey
I didn’t begin my career in the insurance industry.
I began on the sales floor, at Express and Nordstrom in Cherry Hill, NJ. There I learned how to listen, sell, and provide a world-class service experience to clients. These skills shaped my passion for helping people, paying attention to details, and delivering high quality service.
Toward the end of that chapter, my desire to help people in a more meaningful way grew. Selling clothes no longer felt like I was truly making a difference, and as I prepared to move to Fort Lauderdale, FL, it felt like the perfect moment to try something new.
When the Affordable Care Act (ACA) was enacted in 2014, it reshaped our healthcare system and created an opportunity to make a real impact. I earned my license on my own and entered a new world within two weeks. Like anyone starting fresh, I began at the ground level, selling ACA, Short-Term Medical, Hospital Indemnity, and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Plans.
Learning the rules and the systems, but above all, people needed someone they could trust.
In time, I discovered my calling serving Medicare beneficiaries. It fulfilled everything I cared about: helping people, providing a world-class experience, and doing things the right and compliant way.
As I continued supporting more and more individuals, I worked my way up. Serving clients one-to-one as a Sales Agent, a Compliance Specialist monitoring agents compliance adherence, an Onboarding Specialist helping agents get onboarded to start selling, and being a Trainer to Director of Training. I served in many roles across the Medicare insurance industry at organizations including e-TeleQuote, Assurance, and Exact Medicare.
At every stage, I carried the same lessons I learned on the sales floor. Attention to detail matters, quality matters, integrity matters, and helping people matters.
And after more than a decade of building, teaching, and leading, I realized it was time to bring everything I had learned together and create something of my own.
I founded Insurance Training HQ with one goal, to provide Medicare insurance agents with an independent, high quality training and resource platform designed to elevate their knowledge, confidence, and success.
Why? Because agents deserve training that empowers them, agencies deserve systems that scale, and clients deserve professionals who are not only knowledgeable, but confident, compliant, and committed to excellence.
